Placement Advice

Featured Replies

I have been offered a choice of two schools - one in Sakhon Nakhon and one in Phibun. I have not visited either area, and would appreciate any information about either place/recommendations of which to opt for. Thanks in advance

Phibun is a Tumbon in Phubun Mangsahan district in Ubon Ratchatani. That'd probably be really out in the sticks but I don't know for sure as don't know the area. However Ubon is a decent sized city, although I'm not sure how far away you'd be as Ubon is quite big.

Sakon Nakon is a kinda smallish province but I guess from what you've said that you'd be in the provincial capital.

I've never been to either, but it sounds like living in the countryside but not too far from a decent sized city, or living in a small city.

Both are in Isaan.

Others can probably shed a bit more info though.

Phibun is exactly 45 km away from Ubon, on the way to Laos. *( Chong Mek border)
