Tourist Visa Penang.

Featured Replies

I need some help on a topic am sure has been covered before so apologise if that's the case. I have my son come stay with me on his first visit to Thailand on a 30 day ex stamp. He loves it so much he wants to stay longer. I am a regular visitor to Penang so am I able to visit the consulate there and obtain him a multi entry tourist visa. He has a UK passport. The website for the consulate is in Thai so cant find any application forms on there. Has any UK passport holders on here done this in Penang and if so what would he require in terms of is needed ie proof of cash return ticket and how do I get the application form. Also how long would it take to obtain ie could it be done same day and how much. Do I pay in bht or Ringit? Thanks and Regards for any help as I am only familiar on applying in UK not abroad.

Tourist visas are not issued as multiple entries they are issued as the number of entries allowed.

Penang only does a single entry tourist visa. Cost is 110rm.

If the application for a tourist visa is made early morning it will be ready that afternoon.
