I am asking some reasonable questions as many dive head first into these adventures and projects without having a clue as to what is involved, or in other words there is much more to this than just choosing a name.

All I am asking is, is your wife Thai? That is an important factor if opening a business in Thailand and do you have any experience of conducting such businesses in Thailand as I do not regard asking these sorts of questions as trolling and fail to understand why you would get uptight about it.

1 I and my wife operate 3 successful salons in the UK

2 I'm expanding and wish to set up another company ( before it gets messy ) to look after that expansion and funding

3 this affords the chance to re-branding for the new salons

4 my wife is Thai. We have been happily married 4 years.

5 I haven't asked her about names. Just need to get ideas first then we will chose together.

There's a massive element of sexual exploitation going on in these places as thai ladies in UK doing thai massage may be coerced into having to do that to keep the job

Wish it could be stopped to be honest and put into legitimate escort services and brothels.

Sorry about that. I got confused and thought you meant that you were going to branch out the business to Thailand, seems I threw a spanner into the works.

OK then, how about naming the massage parlour or spa after a city in Thailand. For example, the Chiang Mai massage parlour or spa? Avoid the name Bangkok as people abroad always associate that name with beerbars and Bangkok brothels.

Another one, the Chiang Mai Orchid, or even the names of animals or plants associated with Thailand, the golden Tiger Thai massage, or the Cherry Blossom Thai massage, the Secret Garden Thai massage (that`s a good one).

Well, I asked that question, because I do really wonder if orgasm is/was included in some traditional massages or not. Knowing Asia, I would not be surprised if it was.

I know some 'medical' massages include prostata massage - maybe with an equivalent for ladies. I have yet to read any serious research about what a massage was like, 300 years ago, but judging from representations in Japan and China, I would be very surprised if happy endings were not included.

The second thing is I'm not sure a happy ending qualifies as sex, since the person doing the massage doesn't use sexual organs to perform it.

And since erection and orgasm are just natural body functions, I'm pretty sure their stimulation and release in an otherwise distanced massage aren't considered as sinful in Asia as in Christian and Islamic countries.

These thoughts came to me when thinking about your claim to deliver "traditional massages".

A bit like when I think any Thai dish using red hot chili peppers is necessarily modern cooking - since chili has been introduced only recently to Thailand.

Regarding your name, why not call it "Nooat Wat Po" or do you want a name in English that easily identifies Thai massage?

The word "Thailand" has some connotational problems, so I would avoid it. SIAM is more old fashioned, good old time etc.

The word "Spa" suggests high end in treatment and price.
