Samsung television repair.

Featured Replies

My Samsung tv went "bang" this afternoon. Is there a Samsung Service Centre on the island? Or can anyone recommend a good tv service engineer to get it repaired?

Thanks

This is the Samui forum, what does Phuket have to do with it?

To quote my wife... "Why you want to repair when you can just buy new" ......

I bought my Samsung at HomePro, had a small problem, they picked it up and fixed it. If you still have warrantee it will be easier obviously.

To quote my wife... "Why you want to repair when you can just buy new" ......

It's a four years old 46" Samsung. I figured that if it's not too expensive to repair, I can put it in one of the bedrooms.

I will try the place suggested near Big C and FV tomorrow.

About a year ago my 4 year old Samsung TV displayed strange colours. So I took it to the Samsung service centre for a Check-up. They said it needed a new display costing more than 12000 Baht. So I bought a new LG smart TV with WiFi and everything for about 19000 baht

My 4 year old SS 32" wouldn't turn on. I'm not a DIY electronics guy by any means but out of curiosity, Googled "Samsung TV won't turn on" and found all kinds of videos about it. Took off the back of my TV and like the videos described, it was easy to see I had a bad capacitor. 50 Baht repair cost at a local electronic repair shop + 50 Baht for another capacitor that looked like it was going to fail soon as well. Still works great 1 1/2 years on. Good luck with yours.
