Thai T.V. has been showing ads promoting the use of Visa Debit Cards, could it be that, at last, we are going to get "proper" debit cards here in Thailand ie useable "on-line". The ads do not specify any particular Thai Bank but it may be a move towards offering something more useable than the current "Electron" cards. Does anyone know if there is a move afoot to offer more advanced debit cards here in Thailand?
