Samsung Washing Machines? And, appliances? Garbage compared to GE/Westinghouse/Maytag?
If one is in my predicament, then I would suggest buying the SAME model of Samsung that I purchased, and have been satisfied with, for several months. The 16 Kg capacity is fine, but I would not go lower, but only up, up, and away. I think they offer an 18KG model, and I should have chosen that one, because larger capacity is always better for me. But, I was afraid it might turn out to be overkill. So, just buy the one I purchased, but make sure you do not need separate hot hose for water. The machine has no pump to expel water, but I can do without that. Inverter motor driving a beltles tub. Very quiet. So, I just need the basic stuff, with not much more. I like Top loading, because I believe they might require less maintenance. It is only a very basic low cost washing machine that washes clothes, and not much more. Always listen to the Rolling Stones when you want to feel happy, or when in the mood to wash. The band just gets better with age, and the band has produced a TON of music. -

Christ, if they picked up a British soldier, at any point in history, you would hear a stunning range of accents and patois, and varying commands of English. Wellington called them the Scum of the Earth, and was proud of them, in response to a French officer pointing out the educational differences between British and French troops. As is true in many wars, mercenaries are attracted by on the one hand, wanting to fight the good fight (George Orwell in Spain) and those just in for the money ("Colonel" Callan in Angola). The latter often attracts individuals from the more deprived parts of society, with or without military experience. I'm sure the PLA, like all other armies, includes recruits who were otherwise ne'er do wells. Not all join for King/President/Flag/Country. So it make sense that a couple of Chinese nationals rocking up in Ukraine are a few bottles short of a 6-pack. I would say the same for some of the Brits going there; if I was being generous, some seem to be looking for adventure after a mediocre life. There are exceptions of course.
