Popular Post seajae
lets hope this isnt like the announcement that they know who the killers on KT are, somehow I have great reservations about releases like this in Thailand. They usually turn out as something totally different but in this case I really hope not.
Popular Post Tywais
Have to admit to being a bit skeptical of this claim. Did it get to human trials? If not, then jumping the gun on this announcement. Then the steps of getting FDA approval internationally can take months to years. The below announced Sept. 17, 2014. Though they say vaccine rather than cure. First British volunteer injected with trial Ebola vaccine in Oxford If vaccine tested on Ruth Atkins and other healthy volunteers is found to work, it will be fast-tracked for use in west Africa More here - TheGaurdian

Why wait until Thursday with the pressconference, when ebola claims about 100 lives each day?

wilcopops
Cured for a viral infection? The first word that springs to mind is <deleted>. The next thought is that I hope it is the media that has misquoted the hospital, because, if not, they are bigger fools than I thought. Upset
Always thinking that they are better off than all other countries or foreigners. But what to expect from a semi-civilisation that is only a couple of decades old plus the modern world and technology is really too much for them.
jaltsc
"According to its report, researchers at Siriraj Hospital have developed the world's first vaccine that can cure infected patients." Wow!!! This must be record time for developing the vaccine, conducting blind studies with various control groups, fully examine side effects and monitor the efficacy over an extended period of time...or...is that procedure only for inferior farang pharmaceutical companies who lack the knowledge. Unlike Thailand that always gets it right the first time. Let's hope it is better than their knock off Gucci bags.
