Hi,

I will be coming to CM on the 14th November for two weeks with the main purpose of cycling. I would like to stay outside the moat

close to the Nimman area, budget around 1000 baht a night.

Looking for: WI-FI, basic cooking facilities, quiet location but close to the cafes/ restaurants. In a dream world would have facility to clean bike but this is not essential.

What do you mean by "facility to clean bike"?

Why bother with cooking if you're only staying for two weeks? There are countless food joints in that vicinity, from street fare to gourmet. Cooking facilities cost more too.
