Hi,

I am looking for an organic dairy where I can buy organic butter and heavy cream. I have been told there are a few around that sell these items, albeit not widely known but if someone can maybe advise of anywhere that i can get the 2 products above that would be great.

Thanks for any and all information concerning this.

Regards,

I'm still looking for 'real' milk too (in relatively small quantities) so interested in any results.

What's your location?

I'm sure that I have seen milk at Tesco that was either organic or raw (unpasteurised) or both. It was about twice the price of regular milk, made by one of the big Thai dairies and came in a tall rectangular carton such as those used for fresh juice. I think it was called "Gold" or something similar.

Doi Kam brand sells organic milk. You can also get fresh unpasteurized milk for most university dairies. As for the butter, have never seen it commercially.

I was told that there were at least 2 dairies that have raw and unsalted butter, just dont know where it is yet. Also, the heavy cream. I actually want to make clotted cream with the heavy cream, without the proper cream its not possible, especially with the low quality (whipping) cream sold in most supermarkets. A friend wants to open up a traditional English cafe serving typical English afternoon tea's with scone, butter, home made jam and of course, clotted cream. They guy I contacted a couple days ago is supposed to be getting back to me within the next couple days so I will update the thread here and let you know the details once I have them.

If anyone else has any ideas though I am always open to getting it from anywhere in Thailand.

Crossy, I am based in the south.

I see in foodland organic milk in small bottles (estimate 0.5 liter) for normal and low fat.

Never bought them so I can't comment on the quality.
