So, I will be charitable and presume this is not one of the impolite members from Khmer440 trying to start an argument... I am in Cambodia. I am shortly going to Vietnam. I would like to visit China soon. I can apply here (in Cambodia) or there (in Vietnam). But I cannot apply in the nation that issued me its chains (passport, that every nation-state has been requiring for over a hundred years) because I want to visit China before I go 'home'. I meant a generally easy to get a visa country (Anglophone) with a good international reputation that is not the USA. I understand that China is charging citizens of the USA high prices out of some sort of reciprocal action. I do not like to blabber about precisely what is my citizenship.
