Free - Aerial and Copter Photography Class - Oct 13th

Featured Replies

Just a heads up for anyone interested in this subject.

Drones, quad copters and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) open up a new world of photographic possibilities. Aerial and copter photography gives photographers a bird's eye view of landscapes that would be impossible to shoot any other way. In this course you'll learn what it takes to get started in this unique genre of photography and how you can capture quality images from on high.

You'll learn about the equipment aerial photography requires and how to you use it safely - and legally. Jack Davis will discuss the tricky line between photography and video and cover stitching panoramas from the stills. You'll also learn about correcting lens distortion and stabilizing and enhancing the shots after the shoot. Jack will also offer tips on flying and shooting. The emphasis of this class will be on the DJI series of quadcopters: the Vision 1, 2 and 2+, but will cover and compare other equipment as well.
