Modify CRF250 in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

Im not sure if this should go in the motor or chiang mai forum, anyway

I have CRF250

I want to get more power.

I went to a shop, over the bridge at top right of moat (sorry dont know bridge name) on the left. Hes selling injector kits for 7,500 baht and Yakamoto? exchausts for 14,500. He also mentioned another brand of exhaust for same price called pix?(i think)

This all seems pretty expensive, is it good? Should i modify the fuel injection controller.. he said this just bypasses the current one or something and not necessary to reprogram any of the bikes electronics (assuming it can be removed easily if necessary).

So should I go for this, or can anyone suggest any better/cheaper alternative?

Thanks

Not sure why you need to replace the injectors, whereas a Electronic Jet Kit will help by delivering more fuel to the engine. Combine that with a performance pipe and muffler and you will see an increase in power. Beware of some of these knock off mufflers, they are just soda can mufflers with very little increase in performance but way too much noise. Was that shop called Burnings by any chance?
