Condo prices, CM city area

Featured Replies

My wife and I live in Bangkok and we have been kicking around the idea of buying a small 1 b/r or studio apartment in CM, preferably the city area, but since we have a car we would also consider farther out too depending on price etc. We won't be living there full time, probably only a couple of months a year. We have been to CM many times but when we visit we weren't looking for a condo so don't really know which area would suit us best. I know this is very general but what type of place do you think we could get for between 1 and 2 million Bhat?

In that price range you will end up in an older apartment building, if you want a 1 brm condo near or in town.

If you are willing to spent 2 mil a nice studio can be found at a good location.

I live in the Nakornping Condo. You can Google the address. It is an older condo but well kept good staff and management. We are within walking distance to almost everything and we push bike beyond that for excersize and other restaurants and services. We have a nice pool and most of the empty lots around us have been built on. 1 to 2 million baht should give you a nice remodeled and furnished 40 sq. metre studio. Now is a good time to buy as the high season is just starting. Facing towards the church is the most desirable direction. PM me if you have any more questions.

The brand new (still being built) PLAY condo opposite and just up the street from the new MAYA shopping mall apparently has units for 1.99 million baht. I don't know the size but they will be quite small.
