ais 3g pocket

Featured Replies

hey guys , i buy today a ais 3g pocket wifi Mbps and i take the package 800b 8g+4gb free and i use internet and i made test many time i got 0.35 Mbps and i got download 70 kb maximum , is that 3g ? or i got something wrong , i live in chiang dao

thx guys

No, that's EDGE speed. Go into the settings and chose to default to WCDMA/3G only. Though, it might be the case that there is no AIS 3G at your location.

I have had a AIS 3G 21.6 Mbps for about 7 months... It has worked great. The only time it gets slow is when the package has run low or I wasn't credited corrected with the package. I have gone down to the 399 package and it last me all month at moderate use. It is quite speedy but not as speedy as most standard LAN WiFi routers... But more than satisfactory .,.. I don't download movies or anything - just straight Internet.

With your Tablet or PC, Apple Computer, iPad you can enter the diagnostics using an Internet browser, on the http line put ....

192.168.0.1 and hit enter -- your browser will bring up the full interface for the device ... if you haven't already done that.

I would suggest to go to a Good AIS shop and have them double check via talking to AIS that you are properly configured and your account says what it is supposed to be.

thx guys i been to telewizz here there dont know , tomorow i will go to ais store in central festival i hope found solution

When you went to Telewiz did they take the SIM card out and put it in a smartphone and call AIS tech service or account service to verify proper activation? They have screwed up mine twice and I had to get it straightened out.

Most AIS shops have no idea how to deal with the Browser Interface using a tablet or PC Laptop ... but there is a lot of useful information there.. I will have to re-look at mine but there may be a 'factory reset' or default settings reset which would put you in proper configuration ... I checked mine yesterday and found I could not change or select what the other poster suggested you do -- then options were not available .. It was set to automatic - I set to manual - still not available.

ALSO -- when viewing the Setup Configuration using a browser and http:/191.168.0.1 you will see the SMS option under ADVANCED... your SIM CARD SMS INBOX should have a message in it from AIS saying your account has been activated. Same as you get using a regular phone.

If necessary take your tablet or PC laptop as I have done in the past to the AIS shop turn on the pocket WiFi and connect with your browser - 'make' them look at the messages in the SIM SMS INBOX... and look at the other settings if they will.
