webfact
Kuwaiti Man Beaten By Pattaya Bar Guards Over 'Sex Shows'By Khaosod EnglishCHONBURI — A Kuwaiti tourist was beaten by security guards at a nightclub in Pattaya early this morning in a dispute over the club's false advertising for a “sex show,” police say.The man, a 30-year-old military officer from Kuwait, was admitted to Pattaya Hospital to treat wounds on his head and right arm. The injuries appear to have been caused by beating and knife cuts, medical workers say.According to Pol.Col. Suchart Yaemsakdi, a detective officer at Muang Pattaya Police Station, the victim said he and three other Kuwaiti officers were visiting Walking Street, the red light district of Pattaya, at around 3 am this morning when a Thai man invited them to see a "sex show" at a bar called Spice Girls Agogo for 500 baht."But when they entered the bar, they realised that there was no stripping as promised," Pol.Col. Suchart said.Full story: http://www.khaosodenglish.com/detail.php?newsid=1413967436 -- Khaosod English 2014-10-

Pattaya28
Back to the "Tug-O-War" game. Pattaya trying to promote tourism pulling 1 way, security guards beating up a tourist, pulling the other way. laughable !!
Popular Post Kerryd
"...the victim said he and three other Kuwaiti officers were visiting Walking Street, the red light district of Pattaya, at around 3 am this morning.." "According to the Kuwaiti man, he decided to leave the bar, but a security guard approached his group and punched him. Four other guards reportedly joined the fray, beating and kicking the man, before fleeing the scene." Uh huh. Methinks some there's some camelshit in this story. They allegedly paid 500 baht each and decided to leave when they saw there was no "stripping". 1) It was 3 am !! All they were likely to see at that time is girls getting dressed and leaving, and cleaning staff. 2) There is absolutely no reason for a security guard to just walk up and attack one guy, especially if he was with 3 others. 3) 5 guards attacked only him ? None of his 3 friends tried to help ? They weren't attacked ? Not injured ? 4) Let me guess - no (working) CCTVs either. I'm thinking some tout suckered them into paying a "membership" fee knowing the bar was probably closing. Tourists go in, see the place is closing and are upset (ya think) ! Tout is long gone no doubt. Tourist maybe starts yelling something at someone who takes offence. Violence ensues - 1v4 turns into 5v1 as tourist's friends run away (not wanting to end up on the front page of the the local media). The guy is lucky he wasn't seriously injured and tossed into the ocean. Now he gets the delight of returning to (very) conservative Kuwait and hoping this doesn't follow him. Or maybe he's telling the truth and they were just leaving the bar very peacefully when the security guard looked at them and decided "bah, there's only 4 of them - I can take them !" and then attacked ! I mean, that happens all the time, right ?

Popular Post behonset
The arabs from Kuwait, saudia and the other gulf states are the most racists individuals you can find on this planet. Very unpleasant people. No doubt they must have been rude and even racist to the Thai at the bar. Good they got a beating. I understand that saudias need visas to Thailand because they rapped and killed women in Nana. Keeping these nasty arabs out of Thailand would be the best policy

pizzachang
Why was a muslim going to see a sex show? One. To later claim he saw the "Great Satan" Two. To get a preview of 72 virgins Three. Figured you can do anything you want in Thailand (because of # One) Of course, there could be another reason.
Popular Post Franky Bear
I've been working in the Middle East since 1992. If you think all Arabs strap up and hate the west you're very wrong. 90% of them are decent people. I've been to many lads houses for meals, been ran around Dubai in lambos and Ferraris, been out in the Gulf on my old Field Supervisors cousins $15M Yacht which was rammed with alcohol, high end hookers and all that goes with that.believe it or not most Arabs actually hate the stereo type we have especially the younger generation.Don't get me wrong there's many that do hate us, just as there is in any country when Johnny Foreigner works and "steels jobs" and all that.

Popular Post MiKT
Pattaya is a much more peaceful and safe place to get drunk and have a good time (if that's your idea of a good time) than almost any town in the UK on Friday and Saturday night. At least we do not get so many drunk women fighting in the street (pity really - yes, misogynist joke). It does happen occasionally, but not every day as in the UK. I'ts a seaside town and I remember the violent fights in Southend every night when I was young (yes Rocker). Brighton is still the same now with a much worse drug problem than Pattaya. Try causing a problem in any bar/strip-club in the UK and see how long before you are really beaten-up. I don't condone the violence, but if the Arabs though they were cheated they could have walked (run) down to the entrance of walking street and talked to one of the Tourist police volunteers (those guys/girls do a good job)They would have sorted things out pronto. 99.99% of the problems in Pattaya are caused by the tourists (lack of water, bad roads and tour bus drivers excluded).
