I've just been offered a short contract in Rotterdam (if you don't know where that is stop reading now ).

Obviously I want to take the missus, has anyone got recent experience of applying for an EU Family Permit at the Dutch embassy?

Easy, hard, don't bother??

BTW, I'm a Brit so she ought to be able to get a permit without difficulty (famous last words).

I've no recent experience of the Dutch embassy, but there's no reason to think that the process should be troublesome.

You should provide the embassy with evidence of your British citizenship, your marriage, and your contract.
