Galaxy S3

Featured Replies

My Grandkids recently pled bought me a mobile phone fo my birthday,

it's a Samsung Galax S3 and it can do all sorts of wonderful things.....it came equipped with about two dozen apps most of which I don't have any use for and would like to dispose of.

But I find, to my chagrin, that I am not able to uninstal or delete ,even, said bespoke apps.

Can somebody, anybody explain to me please how to get rid of those #@!* useless apps ?

Thankyou for time.

Go to Apps, its on the right usually. Then left key and select uninstall, then choose apps you want to uninstall

Give the phone away.

Seriously, which apps?

Best guess: these are integrated into the Samsung flavor of Android, and thus cannot be deleted or removed, unless you hack the phone.

Once you hack the phone you can do pretty much anything you want.

These apps. are derisively referred to as "bloatware".

Some apps. are integral to Android itself, and thus cannot be uninstalled.

Cherish the things it can do, ignore the faults.
