BMA doles out stringent measures against possible spread of Ebola in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 27 October 2014 (NNT) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is on high alert against the spread of Ebola in the capital, following the death of a British man suspected of contracting the deadly virus in Phuket.

Confirmed reports said the British national tested negative for Ebola. He had arrived in Phuket from Lagos, Nigeria, one of the countries in West Africa where Ebola is a risk, on October 7.

The BMA recently held an urgent meeting on the matter as Bangkok is a popular destination among travelers. Although no visitor has tested positive for Ebola in the capital, the BMA has nonetheless asked the Department of Medical Sciences to set up a surveillance system to monitor the arrivals of international tourists.

Incoming passengers arriving via Suvarnabhumi Airport and Khlong Toey pier will be screened for Ebola. Passengers arriving from 42 countries on the watch-list and 3 countries currently hit by Ebola will be thoroughly screened and monitored.

Currently, 8 tourists who traveled from countries plagued by Ebola are in Bangkok. They are closely monitored by the BMA.

If it gets anywhere in Thailand the country is toast.

There will be an initial cover up to protect tourism revenue, then they will realise their mistake when they realise it is going to get out of their control if not made public.

Tourism will end overnight.

Ebola id quite difficult to catch, so no reason for it to get out of control. Even in the West African countries that have it, it's not spreading very fast, Only a few thousand people have got it over a very long period of time. Where else will the tourists go? Europe? Nope, already got Ebola. USA? Nope, already got Ebola.

However Ebola gets spread, in the BTS I've seen more people wearing a piece of cloth in front of their mouth/nose. I desperately try not to sneeze for fear of getting lynched on the spot. After all, all know Thai only get into problems because of Farang

The way i read the story above, the British man arrived from Nigeria,

tested NEGATIVE for Ebola, but later died of Ebola, ? is that correct,

if so thats so, means its already in Thailand, does not give much confidence

if the health service says he was negative and he later dies.

regards worgeordie

Saying that Ebola is not easily spread,is not a theory i would like to put to

the test,Viruses mutate,if it ever got air borne !,just mother nature thinning down

an-over populated planet.

He was in hospital after fainting and was diagnosed with a heart problem.

Later, he was found dead and found to have come from an African country.

The old Thai-Chinese whispers took over that he'd died of Ebola.

Then he tested negative and it all went away.

General Prayuth and MR Sukhumband better drop to their knees and pray to whatever god they think gave them the power to pray that Ebola doesn't get going in Thailand. Thailand's ineptness and incompetence would doom the nation. Can you even begin to imagine something like Ebola being managed by Thais?

Does it really matter if Thailand has Ebola?

Its was just a short while ago that Thailand announced it had a cure....

So its irrelevant...yes?

nothing like a good cull to clear the streets...hahahaha

So we have world governments doing virtually nothing to contain a spread of this Virus, scientists blowing whistles claiming that this is a weaponized depopulation tool (for obvious reasons), health officials lying about the airborne potential of the virus, anti-vaccine crowds claiming that the virus will be spread via contaminated vaccines that will be mandatory if the situation reaches breaking point. I'm especially fond of the claims regarding the pending use of martial law in the US to isolate people in their homes prior to herding citizens into FEMA camps for mandatory vaccinations followed by their elimination, we have high level banking executives and high ranking officials of alphabet groups bugging out to their nominated retreats in anticipation of major gun confiscation efforts in the US & martial law, wreckless governmental controls (flying a known infected victim into continental USA - <deleted>!), not to mention the following quotes:-

“First, we’ve got population. The world today has 6.8 billion people. That’s headed up to about nine billion. Now, if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by, perhaps, 10 or 15 percent, but there we see an increase of about 1.3.” Bill Gates TED Talk

“If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to Earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.” Price Phillip, Duke of Edinburg

“Depopulation should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.” Henry Kissinger

“Society has no business to permit degenerates to reproduce their kind” Theodore Roosevelt

“A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.” Ted Turner, in an interview with Audubon magazine

And, based on Tom Horns book, I wouldn't be surprised if the Vatican is that hell bent on convincing the world that their religion is the only true religion that they are instigating bible prophecies. I also heard the pope is preparing to disclose their belief in the possible existence of extra-terrestrials... What better way to prove their bogus nonsense than to take their religion off planet when they claim their next messiah is an alien....lmao...

So call me a conspiracy theorist... and I will say thank-you... its better to look at all evidence whether anecdotal or prima facie and follow the money trail and logic than it is to continually believe in a media and government that lies to us all so adroitly.

Here is an interesting view and one that I tend to agree with based on logic and reason and a healthy degree of accurate observation.

Anyone retarded enough to call me a conspiracy theorist and think you have won an argument or discredited me should open the link below and read it.

And another for those that think conspiracies don't occur.

In closing, DONT expect any governments to run to your aid or to give you the forewarning you require to fully protect yourself and your family in any event.

False information is already circulating the web regarding the use of colloidal silver as a cure of Ebola...

please note: Colloidal Silver will work ONLY against bacteria since this is dictated by its MOA (mode of action) which is ineffective against viruses.

Avoid any and all vaccinations at all cost. Eat a raw organic vegan or vegetarian diet and dose up on Vitamin C (No virus ever tested has survived exposure to high doses of Vitamin C), avoid anti-biotics, (like vaccines they destroy your intestinal microflora where approx 80% of your immune system resides), consume large daily doses of probiotics (coconut kefir is the best), get 5 to 7 mins of sunlight daily (expose as much skin as possible during the peak of the day - midday), remove as many chemicals from your home as possible as they all have detrimental health effects, try to avoid over-crowded places, practice exceptional personal hygiene protocols, prepare a one-two month bug-out bag.. Pray to whatever God you favour to cleanse the earth of all bankers and law societies (since they are implicated in all of this mess and have the most to gain).

UPDATE:

BMA equipped with 3 measures against Ebola

BANGKOK, 28 October 2014 (NNT) - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration has prepared three measures to cope with the possible spread of deadly Ebola virus.

Advisor to the Bangkok Governor and BMA spokeswoman Treedao Apaiwong said that the latest meeting of the Bangkok City Hall officials agreed that the Thai capital could be vulnerable to the spread of the deadly Ebola virus as it is the main entry and exit points of travellers to Thailand.

Therefore, the BMA has been collaborating with the Public Health Ministry in monitoring arrivals from six Ebola-affected countries, including Liberia, the U.S., Spain, Mali, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.

Ms. Treedao added that the quarantine of 1,089 travellers from these countries found 11 from areas with serious spread of the virus and eight of them have been under the BMA’s watch.

She went on to say that three measures have also been planned to handle Ebola, including the screening system at the two Bangkok airports and the main port, the search for and the diagnosis of suspected patients and the surveillance and the notification to the authorities by volunteers who may have come across suspected patients from risk ares.

I arrived from East Africa on the 20th through Suwannaphum. No one checked me for anything, not even my yellow fever vaccine. I walked past a video camera, probably to check temperatures I guess, but was that really effective at all? That was it. At least during SARS, someone put a strip on your forehead to check for temperature. When I arrived in Africa, before immigration a nurse checked our temperature, read our ebola info form, asked some questions, then let us through . We all had to also wash our hands with sanitizer under the observation of someone. In Thailand, I walked out of the airport still holding my ebola form (which asked for a lot of unnecessary information unlike the forms in Africa).

Anyone on most flights could have originated from West Africa or been there within the last 21 days. My second flight was from Nairobi, a major transit point. How many people flight direct from Monrovia to Bangkok? Zero I think. They all transit from somewhere. You can target only certain flights if you are going to be effective.

I don't have too much confidence in the capabilities here. 1,089 people in quarantine? What is there definition of quarantine? Are these people sleeping in solitary in the airport for 21 days or was it just an interview in a room upon arrival? Eight people are "under BMA's watch"? Please provide details of what this means....

Articles such as this are certainly thought provoking...

Makes me ponder the possibility of Ebola being something similar...

Seems Africa is a target... Ebola, HIV/AIDS, now Ebola again... what next? reruns of Gilligans Island.. surely that will exterminate them so the elites can plunder their vast natural resources... buahahahahaha

EBOLA
Bangkok ready to handle possible outbreak

BANGKOK: -- The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration is preparing to deal with the possible spread of deadly Ebola virus, as the capital is the main entry and exit points of travellers, making it vulnerable to the virus, BMA spokeswoman Treedao Apaiwong said.

The BMA is collaborating with the Public Health ministry in monitoring arrivals from six Ebola-affected countries: Liberia, the US, Spain, Mali, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.

As of October 26, 1,089 travellers had entered Thailand from Ebolaaffected countries, with 11 of them from the hardesthit countries. She said on Monday that eight of them were now under the watch of BMA while the others were being monitored by Public Health Ministry.

Three further measures to handle Ebola are also in place: a screening system at the two Bangkok airports and the main port, a search for and diagnosis of suspected patients, and surveillance and notification of the authorities by volunteers who come across suspected patients from risk areas.

'Currently, 8 tourists who traveled from countries plagued by Ebola are in Bangkok. They are closely monitored by the BMA.' That's reassuring. Exactly what form is this so-called monitoring taking, I wonder? Should they, in fact, have even been allowed in? And since they are here, and at risk of being accused of ignoring their human rights, shouldn't they be under supervision in isolation?

Travelers from the USA and Spain are in the same screening class as travelers from Liberia?

Is that what they are saying?

Because if so, that is really big news, and would also be incredibly irrational. (At least at this point.)
