Rule #1 ... make sure it's her car and not yours ... laugh.png

Rule #2 ... if she is female, cute ... make sure all driving positions are practised.

Missionary licences are acceptable!

Not as far as I'm aware. There are companies that provide driving instruction and testing .. maybe ask your friend to check. There are no provisional licensing in Thailand. People learn purely to pass the test (and that is kinda strange) go on YouTube "Thai driving test"

I don't know about the rest of the world, but Australia requires that you display an L (front and back windows) for learners permit and that you are accompanied by a licenced driver. I believe a permit has to be issued by the Motor Registry, and of course a fee applied.

It is allowed in Thailand, just do a search here on the forum for more information.

I don't know what you mean with 'in other countries' BTW, in some it is allowed, in some it is not, so a reference to other countries makes IMO no sense.

How is it legally allowed? When there is no provisional license or learners permit available?

Taken from wiki : Unlike most countries, there is no provisional or learner's licence in Thailand. Drivers who wish to obtain a driver's licence have to either learn through driving school or at their own risk for not having a driving licence.

But it says there is no learner license? I do not think even the school have the right maybe they pay the police. Same as translations there is no law about that

Maybe the school is licensed!

OP, just do it as everybody did it everywhere, not just in Thailand:

Find a quiet road or large car park and start the first practice there.

Should a cop come, you are unlikely to have any problems.

Well as long as the land is private that can not do much. Private land has nothing to do with the police, private golf course I guess is a good place as well. They are pretty huge

There was a thread about this some time ago, maybe somebody else has a better memory than I do.

Conclusion there was that it is legally allowed to do so.

Not true ... my friend (who's Thai) got her license through going through a driving school that is associated with the gov. She passed both written and driving test through the school and got her license. I think she said there were few associated with the gov and picked one that was most convenient to her.

Bit muddled there H.H. there isn't any written test.

Generally written test refers to the non practical test. Ie the computerized question/ answer test. Not the physical driving test!

So in my case if my friend had a license for 3 years and we are alone in the car he can let me drive but if i crash into something he will be the one who take the blame....

During the driving lesson, no other person than the learner and the instructor may stay in the vehicle.

A large portion of the driving rules in Thailand are not actually law. Many are just suggestions.

in a nutshell...you can't legally drive on the road until you have passed your test, so "off road" practice is the only legal way to learn...

Now, if you were to read this thread, especially the law I quoted here, you will see that your post is utter nonsense.
