Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL is Thailand's newest registered Health/Travel/Personal Accident insurance company, but is at the same time Thailand's most experienced health insurer, and the same company that has been the administration partner behind health and travel insurer LMG Pacific Healthcare since 2005 (the 'Pacific' in LMG Pacific).

Part of the Pacific Cross Group, Asia's pre-eminent health and travel insurance specialist, our first involvement in Thailand's health insurance market was in 1957 with the granting of our first license. In the 1980's we established Blue Cross Thailand and that business was acquired by BUPA in 1996. We re-entered the Thai market again in 2001 as Med-Sure Services, managing the administration of health/travel insurance first in partnership with Nam Seng Insurance and then from 2005 to the present with LMG Insurance as LMG Pacific Healthcare.

Late in 2013 and with support from the Thai insurance regulator the group acquired a controlling stake in the registered health insurer Borirak Insurance, and this business has been recapitalised, relocated and consolidated into new premises in Chartered Square, North Sathorn Rd, a new and highly competitive set of products designed and approved, and the business re-branded and launched as Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL from September 2014.

What will happen with my LMG policy, will the renewal come from the new entity, or will LMG continue with existing.

You mention Health/Travel/Personal Accident insurance, will you also provide house/condo/vehicle?

Pacific Cross offered Medical Insurance with LMG (Liberty Mutual Group) but now has its own Licence and from 1st November will offer Medical Insurance under its own name – Pacific Cross.

Therefore your Policy will be renewed and you will be contacted in the usual way with a full explanation.

Pacific Cross does offer Travel and P.A. but not Vehicle, Property etc., as that will continue to be offered by LMG.

AA Insurance Brokers will update all its clients both for LMG and Pacific Cross when renewals are due. For any further information please feel free to contact Pacific Cross or us direct :
