New from Shark for 2015, first factory integrated light in the helmet. Looks pretty cool, and every bit of extra visibility at night is a good thing. I hope more manufacturers join in this trend.

According to this http://www.formotorbikes.com/blog/shark-skwal-helmet/ the helmet has a USB charge port to recharge the built-in battery, which lasts 5 hours on or 8 hours flashing. Seems reasonably priced too at 190 GBP.

Looks good. Flexible positioning. Is it easy to attach / detach or do you keep it on the helmet permanently? How long does the battery last you?

it is not permanent. attached thorough two suction cups.

it does not look good on my Shoei:) so i do not use it but my gf use it all the time especially during night rides.

battery goes for along time. still using the same stock battery.

Like the concept BUT have a couple of questions.

1: Those Green "Lazer" Lights at the back, are they to Burn-out the Eyes of following Motorists?

2: Will the new Helmets come with a "Set of BRAINS" for the Motorcyclists of Thailand, who are in desperate need of them?

I had a cheap helmet about 6 years back with red leds in the back.

I can't remember the brand.

They were pretty dim so I never bothered to use them.

It's a good idea though and should be on all helmets.

They may have taken the idea from Rossi's helmet supplier. He had an LED helmet in that race at Losail curcuit.
