PepsiMax (Thailand) is produced and bottled by PepsiCo in Amata City Industrial Estate in Rayong, Thailand. It is currently available in 240ml (8.3-oz) cans and 550ml (18.6-oz) plastic bottles.

PepsiMax is a high-caffeine sugar-free energy drink, containing twice as much caffeine as Regular Pepsi or Regular Coke. The artificial sweeteners in the Thailand formula are Aspartame and acesulfame potassium ("Ace K"). Those on low-sodium diets should be aware that there are also 60mg of sodium (from sodium benzoate?) in each 550ml bottle of PepsiMax. Not the "5mg" per serving shown on the label.

How much Aspartame and Ace K and caffeine in a 550ml bottle?

None of your damn business, according to PepsiCo and the Thai Ministry of Health. The list of ingredients label is on each bottle (by law?), but not the amount of each ingredient!

Internet research reveals the secrets: 100mg of caffeine are in each bottle - about the amount in a single cup of coffee. Each bottle also contains 193mg of Aspartame and 50mg of of Ace K.

Sugar-free PepsiMax consumers in the "Liter-Level League" (4 bottles per day is 2.2 liters) are ingesting 770mg of Aspartame; 196mg of Ace K; 250mg of sodium; and 426mg of caffeine. How's your health?
