on the German TV, they play this movie on EVERY New Year Eve for the last 45 years !!! It's become a classic, so to say. The scenes when the butler tries to avoid the tiger head are priceless . . . . .

It is funny, once, but for the life of me I can't explain how this little act is played every Christmas throughout germanic countries every year.

Same as last year.

I should have said Christmas Time, or Yuletide (which period includes New Year for myself and many others) forgive me for missing out one word and failing to memorize the German TV Programming Schedule for Winterval, not being German and all.

Anyway, it goes some way to explaining the popularity of Mr Bean.
