Thai Expat TV - which Android device works OK?

Featured Replies

I'm in the market for a new Android device (Minix Neo 8 maybe?) and would like it to run Thai Expat TV apk file OK, besides my other stuff like Kodi.

If I ask Thai Expat TV they will just try to sell me their box and say they don't support other boxes.

Therefore what third party boxes have TV users successfully run the apk on? I have 3 other devices to date and results are as follows:

1. Samsung Note 10.1 2014 (Kitkat), runs the software partially, but screen continuously blanks out after about 30 seconds - therefore useless and need to use Android web browser or UK TV apk which both OK but with less functionality.

2. Samsung Note 2 (KitKat)- same as above for #1.

3. M-Tek dual core Android stick (Jellybean) - cannot start Thai Expat TV.apk locks with blank screen, therefore useless and need to use Android web browser or UK TV apk which both OK but with less functionality.

Thanks for any feedback.

Thanks. It's also running OK now on all the devices i mentioned including my new Neo8 after i noticed they upgraded the apk in the other thread on this forum offering a months free trial. Its a shame they don't let their paying users know about apk updates on some kind of notice board, but to their credit they do answer members tech questions promptly.
