My boyfriend of 4 years is burmese and will be applying for his passport soon. Assuming he gets it, would your professional opinion be that the government would be more or less scrutinizing of giving him a fiancé visa for America than a burmese woman? And in general, after being able to provide tons of proof of the legitimacy of our long term relationship (we also have a 2 year old child, who already has his US passport), what additional obstacles might be working against us in being approved for the visa?
