Bridge Clubs in Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

My mother is coming to visit Thailand and Chiang Mai between the 16th Dec and 4th Jan (2015).

She is a very keen bridge player.

Can anybody suggest regular Clubs that would welcome a short-term visitor, in or around the City centre.

Thank you.

There are regular bridge meetings at The Pub which is located on Huey Kaew road, opposite the new Maya shopping center. Not sure of the days and times they meet but you can call The Pub at 053-211-550. Their website is: http://www.thepubchiangmai.com.

The Bridge Club of Chiang Mai has a website at: http://www.bridgewebs.com/chiangmai/ This site looks very helpful for those who consider bridge an addiction and not merely a habit.

The only club in CM open to visitors is the Bridge Club of Chiang Mai. As noted in the previous post, this meets at The Pub. Times of games are given on the website, see previous post or just Google it. We always suggest that visitors start by coming along for a Monday game. This rather informal session helps visitors meet possible partners. We also have sessions on Friday (relaxed duplicate), Sunday and Weds. Sun and Weds games are a bit more serious. PM me if you need further info beyond that shown on the website.
