Does anybody know from when until when the yellow buses to and from mae rim go?

And are there any buses I could take at night?

They go from Warorot Market. Past the flower shops is a sort of parking area where there are many 'buses' Just ask there. I don't know what time that they stop running

You can get them at the Chaang Puak bus station, it is a/the major stop/start point. That would also be where you could get a larger bus that would pass through Mae Rim going further north. They mostly stop running when it is dark.

I know where they go. I just need to take an early bus to chiang mai and a late one back tomorrow and nobody i asked really knows when they start.

You can get one when the sun comes up at the Mae Rim market, maybe a little before. Then ask the driver how late they run at night. Then ask another driver or two when you get to town.
