Garage Sale - Lanna International School, Saturday Morning

Featured Replies

Dear ThaiVisa members,

If any of you like a little bargain hunting you may want to pop down to our school Garage Sale this coming Saturday morning, from 8am to 11am. These are very popular sales, and the old adage that the early bird gets the worm holds very true for these events!

If you would like to sell things yourself there are a few of the 75 selling spaces still available. You may be able to get one (200 Baht) if you phone Ms Nim in the Finance Office (053-805528).

To locate the school see here: http://www.lannaist.ac.th/contact-us

See you there!

I would pay more for a farang car than a dealer car if the farang bought it new. I'd know where it came from, could form an opinion of the farang and how he lives taking care of other things, and in general be more comfortable about what I was buying.

A couple of years ago a lot of cars were flooded. They should have been totalled, but were they? There are often floods in Thailand where cars are flooded. What happens to them?

Buying a used car is always a gamble but I wouldn't buy from a Thai tent.

I'll be there again. Lots of lovely food and coffee last time, as well as the bargains. Breakfast awaits!
