sounds kinkythumbsup.gif

how dare you! my friend (female) insists this is for medicinal purposes only as anything else would be totally illegal, shameful and would invalidate the warranty!

Not likely to find them in Thailand for two reasons. First, they are not shipped here. Second, the only run on 110 volts. You can use a transformer but not recommended.

And yes, they are only for medicinal purposes. biggrin.png

Some are decent quality but most sold online are easy to spot fakes.

Well I guess it's back to looking for one when I'm next overseas and I assume the Sukumvite BKK ones are Chinese copies. I just wondered if any had been spotted in the night market etc.

The ones in Bangkok will be nowhere near as good. Having said last time I took a stroll in BKK there was a variety of instructional DVDs demonstrating the safe usage of said device, surprisingly quite a few involving Japanese teachers and/or nurses so I have no doubts as to the educational value of the DVDs or the pain relief value of the device as displayed by the health professionals.

you sound like a bounder!

my young lady friend assures me Hitachi products are the very essence of common household utensils!!! the point in question is..................... where can one buy one?

as for the Japanese Nursing Profession Demo DVD's I'm not sure my young friend requires one

Edit: in fact she assures me she does not!

Nudge Nudge, wink wink, know what I mean?
