Phuket To Hua Hin

Wondering any options on travel between Phuket and Hua Hin.

Looking at comparing prices vs time. I wouldn't mind driving it (once) to see, but am unsure of the time.

Driving? or in a bus? Driving ... depending on variables 8-10 hours Bus? 11-14 ... Bus to Surat then train? 5 plus at least 8

Fly to BKK then bus down? 5-6 ... minivan/flying? 4-5
