This was after a signing ceremony at Phuket Police Station, between Phuket Government, Police & CAT to install the Internet Protocol CCTV cameras & control computers, with the first outside Seaview Resort Hotel, on south Patong beach road.

The system costs 16 million baht for 48 locations in Phuket City, Patong & Karon, and is designed to prevent crime, collect evidence, and improve security.
