One of the royal projects are probably the most trustworthy. Most sold by the vendors has been diluted to the point of being thin as slieghtly muddy water

Might help if you said what area you are in ? or are you willing to travel the length of the country to get it ?

Yes, It might!

I have always had good luck with the local venders here in Isaan.

Motor cycles wth a box of whiskey bottles full of honey.

Don't know how "pure" but it seems top drawer to my taste buds.

Only problem I have had is the village kids getting into my kitchen when I am away and drinking(??) it!

Once I came home to find a once full bottle broken on the floor!

What a sticky mess..but the ants loved it!

Sometimes the guys from the village will find a hive on one of the farms.

They bring home a big bucket of honey to share,

And a bucket of bee larva that they fry up for a treat.

They taste a lot like ground pork. ( season to taste )

Maybe there is a problem with watered down honey in BKK.... ( where are you located?)

But here in Thailand, it's all good ...so far! post-147745-0-67143300-1418044508_thumb.

I once saw a doc treat an open cellulitis wound who wasn't responding to antibiotica with this honey, with astonishing success.

Yes, well documented, but you need to use unpasteurized honey to do that.

Honey is bee poop.

Sorry, should have said. looking in Bangkok or South Isaan. The main factor is that it is 100% pure. I live in Saudi currently and have had a lot of success making mead ( Drink of the Gods). It's great stuff. Was thinking of doing a load next time in Thailand and leaving it for my visit after. A good mead needs at least six months to a year to mature. Plus the fact that there are some great fruit combinations I've been thinking of with Thai fruits. Mangosteen and lychee spring to mind. Here in Saudi I risk imprisonment and deportation. In Thailand, a fine and family drinking it!
