Buy aloe vera in Chiang Mai

Featured Replies

HI,

Do you know where i could buy aloe vera gel and aloe vera to drink in Chiang Mai?

Thanks.

You can get the actual plant anywhere and squeeze the gel yourself and peel it to blend (I mix it with my morning juice)

Get yourself the plant in your garden/balcony, it's used for so many things!

Be careful about the latex which is near the skin. The Latex causes significant laxative effect.

Lots of places sell the Aloe drinks with various levels of sweetener such as Tops and Rimping.

Baan Suan Pak health food store and Aden Health food store sell freshly made ones and Aden has some canned ones.

Cheapest is just buying the leaf or the quick growing plant.

Just beware the latex because the laxative effect is due to intestinal irritation.

I notice that one of Baan Suan Pak's fresh aloe drinks really clean me out.

I think its because they are scraping some latex off when the make the drink.

Once in while that could be helpful but longterm quite damaging to irritate the digestive lining.

In general not a great idea to get addicted to laxatives.
