Notary Services in Lower Sukhumvit

Can anyone recommend a notary who can witness signatures and certify copies in the Ploenchit / Lower Sukhumvit (between Asoke and Nana) area?

From time to time I need to provide certified copies of my passport to various bodies in the UK. Getting this done where I live has proved to be impossible. Thais don't seem to understand the requirement and those who would be eligible to countersign (e.g. my bank manager) will not sign something they do not understand.

I now need to get my signature on a UK pension Life Certificate witnessed by someone. The British Consulate no longer will do this so I am at a bit of a loss.

Thanks in advance for any advice on this.

I use them too: Glas Haus building, 9th floor.

The last time was for a passport certification to open an offshore bank account,a couple of years ago, cost 500B.

They put a lot of stamps and gold stickers and signatures on it- looks very official, and as described they can do it on the spot.

If a specific form of wording is required, or to make it absolutely clear what you want you can copy the passport page and the form of wording on the top half of an A4 size page and they will countersign , stamp and seal on the bottom half- I found this easier to do rather than explain the necessity to have an exact wording.

They do understand English well though.

"Short walk from asoke." Right into the Thonglor police area!

This place is nearer to where he said he wanted...

Thanks to everyone for the input.

In the end I used Interactive because they were just around the corner from where I was staying.

Service was faultless. Perhaps a little more expensive than from Suwat might have been (B1070 for Interactive's notarisation service) but the convenience of the location was worth it.
