Featured Replies

I can not get an answer from the school, can any teachers give an estimate of when they typically start and finish in the central region, Bangkok area part of Thailand.

Just trying to book flights etc.

Thanks.

Looking through old passports, if seems that Thai school holidays may start about 15th March and go for two & half months till the end of May.

Can anyone confirm this please ?

Your headline is a sort of confusing. These are not the Songkran holidays, it's the summer break when a school year ends, until the new academic year starts.

Students at government primary and high schools usually write their final examinations in middle of March ( Prathom and Mathayom 6 students eventually a little earlier), while, teachers are usually expected to stay at school until end of March to finalize grades, etc....

The new school year starts beginning,or at most schools middle of May.Seldom until end of May Songkran is from 13th to 15th of April.
