My little one is on his way to being a world class downhill racer and is ready to upgrade from his tricycle to bicycle with training wheels. Any suggestions on where or what to get would be helpful. Looking for a good quality ride perhaps a 12 incher (size of wheel) or a 14", new or used but most interested in getting something on the higher end if there is such a thing available here.

Hi JC, You might look into a small BMX bike. They're small, and generally stronger and better made than regular bikes for little kids. And they have a longer riding life even as the child grows. Not sure if you can find something for a 3 year old-- I bought a Haro at Jacky when my boy was a bit older, like 6. Training wheels are easy to fit to the rear axle.

I am happy with the quality from Big C for a 3 year old. My son had a bike from 3 until 6 and it withstood the test of time, now my daughter has a new bike for a 3 year old.
