December 18, 201411 yr Can anyone recommend a decent hotel ( 1000-1500baht ) within walking distance of Chatuchak weekend market. I know there's a lot online at Agoda etc but i'm not familiar with that area. TY
December 18, 201411 yr An alternative for most would be any hotel with access to skytrain - this is not a tourist area for hotels and restaurants so might be better to stay elsewhere.

December 18, 201411 yr http://maps.google.com use the directions tab to find distance >> walking 3.8 km, 47 mins ........... few hotels in pradipat road are probably closer if you really must walk or be close. seen from outside only. dont know price or facilities/style
December 18, 201411 yr 1 stop away from where your at BTS Mochit.get off the next stop Saphan Kwai .There is also A big C there.Anyway A 5 minute walk From there is Nice Palace hotel,500 baht.They also have A restaurant.You can walk from the weekend market to there but it might Take 10-15 minutes.
