Vote for Costas. Ok he is Greek but he has a heart of gold. Some of his posts are hilarious.

Having said that NancyL is a good kind hearted lady. Posts some very useful comments, also shes not as crazy as Costas.

Nancy, I'm disappointed in what you wrote about me and my kids in the Thai Visa Poster of the Year thread.

Attacking my Family is a low blow.

Sadly or thankfully, all these comments have been hidden from view.

This is supposed to be a fun competition ... let's focus on the positives.

Allan Hall isn't a joke, he's a nasty piece of work. Lot of stuff around about him and shar practices. Think he was big in CM Expat club

A man can do anything that a woman can do. I know, I've seen it with my own eyes. ...

You've seen a man have a baby??? w00t.gifw00t.gifw00t.giflaugh.png

Didn't Arnold "A'll be bock" ? A man of many talents. ;)

You're the type of person most of us are trying to get away from. Do you have green wellies too?

Jingthing,& NancyL .

Looking at the rhetoric it seems as if Ronny Reagan posing as Jingthing has been exhumed by Nancy Reagan posing as Nancyl.

My name is Nancyl. I also don't have the slightest idea what I'm talking about, but as the campaign manager for Jingthing I sure do a good brain-washing job.

What is it with these 'rotarian/expat club' types? These so called self-appointed 'pillars' of expat society who cram themselves into every photo opportunity they can, nearly always tend to wind up as rip off merchants, con artists, or just plain villains, far worse than the much maligned 'wife beater' wearing, tattooed, shaven headed ''low class tourists'' some jokers love to slag off on this site so much.

Alan Hall was never active in a Chiang Mai Rotary Club. He is gone from Thailand -- has been for over a year and the CM Expats Club is being operated under a new constitution with an elected board and new rules. His leaving Thailand has allowed the CM Expats Club to be totally remade into an organization that is truly guided by its members and serving the community.

OP, yes it is appalling ...............sad.png

Politics is a dirty game. Reminds me of the 18-1/2 minute gap in the Nixon tapes.

Possibly the winner of the most pathetic thread of 2014? I'll vote for you in that one.

You can still vote until the end of the year. Vote for NancyL!

My vote is for Nancy, only if Allan Hall personally comes to present her with the award.

A few months ago, I would have been very annoyed with this post. Now, I just find it hysterically funny. By his leaving, I've had one heck of a good time this year. Thanks everyone -- for pulling together to remake the CM Expats Club!

I think that's a little harsh Nancy, I like the way you and Richard are running the expats club for me during my absence you have done well - thanks again

Do we have the real Alan Hall here or some politically driven impersonator? Would have to agree that there are some individuals on this forum who would think that a impostor might just stir up enough trouble to jumble up the POTY poll. Elaborate act if that is the case.

Gonzo, get a grip, it's an impostor! Seriously, man!

Richard has definitely not been running the Expats Club since he left. It's been a group of ladies who have been doing the heavy lifting.
