Looks somewhat ugly, like you have (unwittingly) installed some unwanted Firefox Add-on/toolbar/search engine stuff.

Often happens well hidden when installing free software from the internet.

Inspect the Add-ons/Extension list of your browser (menu: Tools / Add-Ons).

Not sure whether is easily removable.

Some of that stuff is naughty (virus like).

Do you have a virus scanner installed?

The "Thai script" sounds suspicious too.

What you have in your post seems to be garbage (makes no sense).

Sorry about that. Firefox in safe mode didn't do this so going through addons I found the culprit .. Mcafee Site Advisor. Now have WOT as replacement.

To me it looks like an additional tool bar, Try uninstalling. If that don't work then try system restore to date before you had this problem.

I did apologise. It was the Mcafee site advisor I said. Thanks anyway.
