hello all

my lovely and i recieved a fiancee visa from US embassy in aug of '05. thank you God

she came to US in sept. we got married in oct.

we applied for change of status to perminant resident (green card) in nov.

i checked the US imagration website, it said it would take between 120 and 180 days to recieve.

after waiting more than 180 days, recieving nothing, we went to the immigration office.

we were told that it would be at least another 6 months.

has anyone had any experience with this?

how long did you wait for a permenent resident card?
