Avoiding 'iffy' expats......

Sure, Nancy as President of a long established group that helps people, it contrasts sharply with the time wasters/trolls who lob blocks of dung against the same because they're bored or have an agenda, it remains very sad. No further debate or discussion on this point from me.

AOA -- you joined Thai Visa just this year. You seem to know much about Chiang Mai and my business for such a new arrival. Could it be that you're someone who has previously been banned on Thai Visa?

Anyway, I'll address this post as if it's the first time I've heard this charge. For starters, the person who is associated with the insurance sponsor of CM Expats Club never sold financial products for AH.

Also, I'm not aware of any situation where someone's 5M baht bill for a serious health problem was denied. In fact, just the opposite. I'm aware of the value of having a local representative who can act on your behalf between the hospitals and the insurance company to make sure that all the paperwork is submitted correctly. Some here in CM you can contact to assist in follow-up.

Once again, AOA you're making allegations of malfeasance, like you did about the CM Rotary club. Once again, I'll make the same offer. If you can PM me with details where someone's multi-million baht insurance claim (with insurance provided by the CEC sponsor) was denied, I'll check into the details. If your story is true I'll be "man enough" to admit it here.

I have a feeling that, like your story of wrongdoing at the Rotary, you won't be able to supply details of any specific incidence of wrongdoing.

I'm waiting for that PM.

6) You will not post comments that could be reasonably construed as defamation or libel.

Defamation is the issuance of a statement about another person or business which causes that person to suffer harm. It does not have to be false to be defamatory. Libel is when the defamatory statement is published either in a drawing, painting, cinematography, film, picture or letters made visible by any means, or any other recording instruments, recording picture or letters, or by broadcasting or spreading picture, or by propagation by any other means. Defamation is both a civil and criminal charge in Thailand.

I think avoiding foreign run bars, where them and their clique will be your buddy as long as you're dumb enough to pay 90 thb for a small Heineken is a good way to NOT meet the iffy people. Also, something about a grown man wearing circus pants is enough to make me second guess them.

I know nothing about Rotary club, have never made any post with "Rotary Club" in the text until now.

I think you are becoming confused.

The nature of many scams (and Ponzi) is everything appears to work, until it doesn't.

Sometimes it works for years ..........

You know, you're right, AOA. I'm getting you confused with AFT -- another poster on this thread who did make a similar unsubstantiated allegation about the Rotary club. When challenged to provide evidence of wrongdoing, he backed down. You both seem to delight in making vague and unsubstantiated allegations about organizations in my life.

My offer stands for you to, if you can provide evidence of wrongdoing as you alleged in the thankfully deleted post, I will come forward and admit I'm wrong. Just as I did in this post.

I'm willing to admit when I'm wrong or confused, like I was in confusing you and AFT. You both have a similar agenda.

You're a sad tool AOA/Tommo, or whatever your name is these days. You've been slagging Rotary and Nancy indirectly for some days (and directly via flash then deleted posts). Unfortunately your theatrics attract views hence you remain active here, that in itself is the bigger crime, sad indeed.

What an arse you are,

Nancy has already admitted she made a mistake accusing me of mentioning Rotary Club.

That doesn't change diddly squat, Nancy was actually correct the first time around, now she truly is confused and you know that.
