toasted Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 I managed to get over to the kassam stadium for the first time this season yesterday with my son. What a game! Turley saved two first half penalties and inspired the team to a great victory. In the second half we could have had several more as the Histon full backs were ripped apart. The difference in confidence between our dreadful, sluggish start and the second half was incredible - short, sharp, one touch passing and great movement on the wings. Let's hope they take this confidence into the next few games. And my son has eschewed Man. u. for the Oxford!!!!! Guess I'll have to splash for a shirt for him now. Yes I agree TP, sometimes when it is not going for you, you have to scrap out the games. And I think you will, as long as keep battling, a friend of mine who is a season ticket holder, said this has been missing of late, but it will come back, I am sure of it.
