Can I buy a Kindle in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Hoping someone can help me, I'd like to buy a couple of Kindles, the new 7th Gen basic models for me and my wife. They retail on Amazon at $99, but I'm being quoted that figure again just in shipping/import taxes. I was wondering if anyone had seen them available in any shops/malls in Bangkok? Thanks a lot for any help anyone can give :)

I need a Kindle too - Fyi, in 2013 I wrote a 500 page book called "A Place To Be Killed: Tourism Alert Thailand"

If you get a Kindle, pm me if you wish, and I'll tell you when you can download my book(s) for free on Amazon Kindle ebooks..

Take care

Ok thanks for your help! Heard about them selling these at B2S shops. FYI: Not available at B2S in Fashion Island :( off to Central World at the weekend to hopefully finally get sorted! Will post how I get on.

They have the KindlePaperWhites here in Samui in Central Festival. in B2S? I'm sure they have a branch in Siam Paragon. Maybe you could ask them to order for you.
