Heading to HK this weekend

Featured Replies

The Mrs and me are heading to Hing Kong this weekend to do my visa run.. She's Thai, she will be ok for her visa on arrival right? She has a UK visa in her passport also which I would think will help prove she's not there for the wrong reasons.....

She doesn't get a visa on arrival, she will be allowed in visa free.

If you're travelling together it's unlikely there will be a problem but, yes, the UK visa should allay any concerns.

Thank you old bean

I fly regular hk-bkk and often noticed on arrival there are 5-6 officers waiting as all exit the plane, they seem to pull many thais for questioning and i never see them in the immigration queue...do they get turned around and sent back?

Franky,

Its easy just stick by your Mrs and go together to the immigration desk, if they ask, she is with you and will have no problems, she doesn't need a visa
