Are you in Chiang Mai? Yesterday the visibility was crystal clear, a cool wind was blowing, top temp was about 24'c. When i awoke the mountain looked so vibrant I felt I could reach out and touch it. I took a mini van to Tan Wan Laen beach, which is only 20km from airport, for 150 baht I am not sure if the vans will take you to where the boats leave. Why Koh Tao? Many tour companies can arrange transfer to the Koh Tao ferry. Just Google around like http://www.chumphonairport.net/ . Its a bit stormy this time of year however.
