Twitter hackers: It’s ‘World War III’

Hackers took over the Twitter accounts of the New York Post and United Press International, writing bogus messages, including about hostilities breaking out between the United States and China.

One tweet posted under the UPI account quoted Pope Francis as saying, “World War III has begun.”

I don't think the hackers thought through the potential consequences of their actions. All it would take is one nutter to believe a hoax "news" story to actually initiate a hostile attack at his perceived "enemies".

Where would their so-called principles be then?

Luckily even this guy isnt that stupid - world leaders do have people to advise them re something they saw on social media. We can thank GWB for improved checks and balances - and Reagan, of course. Nothing quite like having a man at the top who cant remember where he put his launch keys.
