Bus direct from don sak to surat airport

Featured Replies

As title, is there one or need to go to surat then change bus? Flight is 2-50pm leaving from samui

FYI, there isn't one, and you need to get a bus from don sak to surathani first ... Chances are tho, this bus that costs 120b will not stop in surat bus station but an out of town private "bus station" where you will then be asked for 600b for a taxi to the airport .... This happened to my Thai friend, so not a trick just for us foreigners !

Yes, there are bus going directly from ferry and catamaran pier to airport.

Search this forum for the word "bus" and you'll find PLENTY of threads which has exactly this in detail already!

Sure seems to me that one of the local bus companies has a monopoly on transport out of Surat Thani airport. Is this true?

Why worry about it?

Just get the Lomprayah catamaran and bus, direct to the airport, as Mole suggests ^ Other wise it just gets too confusing for most of us!

Or arrange with me to pick you up, my rates are astonishing but I'll get you there :)

You once offered to give me a ride for free - that was truly astonishing (and very generous, thanks)!

I was feeling generous back then :) After a couple of no shows, my generosity has waned....
