Why the Muslim 'no-go-zone' myth won't die

Well done the Attorney General.

Two Bristol men involved in a sex ring, which involved the rape, abuse and prostitution of teenage girls, have had their jail sentences increased.
The victims, aged between 13 and 17, were told it was part of the men's "culture and tradition" and "men always have sex with each other's girlfriends".

Yes, that old excuse. Culture & tradition take prededence over any laws of the land.

Meanwhile in the ONLY UK prosecution for FGM

I regard FGM as abhorrent', accused doctor tells court

The word " Abhorrent " now seems to be getting thrown around like confetti at a wedding.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front's cause and methods; a botched police action against Muslim rebels, in which two of the police officers killed were, themselves, Muslim (see your link) is hardly proof of the so called Muslim no go zones in Western cities which are the subject of this topic.

They came as killers, if I understand this right.

If you had read the linked article, you would have found this passage...

Almost 400 police commandos had swooped before dawn in the operation to hunt down Zulkifli bin Hir alias Marwan, a top suspect in the 2002 Bali bombings and one of the United States most wanted militants, with a $5 million bounty for his capture.

Southern Mindinao has been a muslim no-go zone for years... Denying it is asinine as I said before...

I think I read this fairly well:

"... top secret mission - catch or kill...-"

- isn't that clear enough?

So, killers got killed in combat, and you don't need written posts around a battlefield telling you "STOP. THIS KILLING FIELD IS A NO GO AREA. Killing can cause severe damages to you or your environment", do you?

There is tons of places in France, in, or around Paris, or Marseille, where you wouldnt go unless you really have to. Places where a girl cannot expect to wear a skirt (not even a short skirt) and walk without any troubles (harassments, insults, rape sometimes), or people could use a phone in the street without expecvting to be robbed. That's a fact. That's how it is now.

That's street life in a gentrified area.

Have you ever been inside one of the 'slum' houses built on investors' grounds?

You'll find all kinds of 'no go zones' in the floors, elevators are worst. Lock people up like rats, and they will behave like rats. This is what might happen if you sell land to private (mostly foreign) investors.

Please don't be pedantic... Southern Mindinao has been a muslim no-go zones for over a decade... From which they kidnap Christians, hold them for ransom and then kill them... And you question the Filipino government for wanting to stop these heathens?

Yes, the mission was to capture a known MUSLIM TERRORIST... Get a grip people...

The topic of the thread is muslim no-go zones, no? If this area does not qualify, then what does... Doesn't matter if it's in western Yurrup or not...

Speaking of what I know, these so called ghettos, were actually build in the 60's for french and italians workers, state of the art architecture at the time, all commodities, great places to live in until.... Sometimes people hates the country they live in so much that they turn their own environment into rat cages by themselves. After that begins the whinings.

During the ethnic riots some years ago, they burned their own schools, buses, own parent's cars, commodities.. Need more proofs?

Seems like France have now openly admitted what most sane people have been saying years.

Counter-terrorism operations have been launched across France in the wake of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, with the Prime Minister declaring the country has collapsed into "apartheid".
A total of 64 suburbs in many major cities have been identified as ghettos and Manuel Valls' admission that geographic, social and ethnic apartheid exists in France signals a seismic change in the country's approach to immigration

The " Myth " is not a myth. That is why it will not die.

You are confusing ghettos with no-go areas. There have always been ghettos in major cities.

You already you the adequate answer for this, do you?

If you want war in the streets and floors, be sure there's an urban guerilla to protect their neighbours and families from invasions. Killers are killers are killers, whatever uniform these clowns hide behind.

And these clowns were only in it for the money, for the reward they were offered.

Read the linked article very precisely, and you will find out yourself.

And now run into a bank office, someone might be already waiting for you, clowns :D

Take your own advice and read the actual OP; which begins

There's no evidence of extremist takeover of areas in Europe or the United States. So why do the claims continue?

DAVID A. GRAHAM

Have you heard about the areas of Europe, or perhaps even of the United States, that are run by jihadists and which non-Muslims can't even enter?

WASHINGTON: -- Don't get too worried if you haven't: They don't exist.......

The " Myth " is not a myth. That is why it will not die.

That article is about ghettoes with high unemployment and where youths are vulnerable to radicalisation.

It does not mention so called no go areas at all!

Channel 4 presenter Cathy Newman certainly found a Muslim no go area in London last Sunday.

This from the Guardian.

The Channel 4 News presenter Cathy Newman has revealed how she was turned away by her local mosque in south London because it would not allow women inside.

The journalist, who was attempting to take part in Visit My Mosque day, tweeted on Sunday afternoon how she was ushered out of the South London Islamic Centre in Streatham, even though she had her head covered and was not wearing shoes.

Give them whatever fancy name you like. They are what they are.

For a man that seemingly lives in Surrey. You sure are blind to what goes on in a 100 mile radius of you.

Okay, the West, where a French politician has to negotiate to meet community leaders not on their 'territory'.

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/01/30/mark-steyn-on-europes-no-go-zones/

According to one author; I would very much like to see the lady in question's account of where the meeting took place and why that location was chosen.

BTW: some information on Roubaix, the town in question: A French Town Bridges the Gap Between Muslims and Non-Muslims.

Doesn't seem like a no go area for non Muslims to me; rather a town where, despite it's economic difficulties, people of all races and religions get along.

If you do not know the difference between a ghetto and a no go area, I can only assume that English is not your first language!

I suggest a dictionary.

Are ghetto's not normally no go areas for some members of a community ? The ghetto's that I know of certainly are. Perhaps you should visit some ghetto's.

Dictionary ? Wow that was really taxing that one.

Keep going with that day job of yours. You will never make it as a comedian.

Yet another example of someone not reading the whole article!

From further on:

Aslam Ijaz, chair of trustees at the South London Islamic Centre, which has a congregation of up to 1,500, said he apologised unreservedly to Newman for her experience on Sunday morning, and explained that email problems meant that the mosque was not aware of the open day until it was too late to ensure staff were prepared for visitors.

“There was nobody from the management or committee at the mosque that morning,” said Ijaz, who is also a founding member of Interfaith Lambeth. “The person who turned the journalist away must have been someone with no authority - a worshipper.

“About 60% of our group is Somali, many of whom do not speak any English, so I think there was confusion. I intend to take action and find out what exactly happened, but I would like to apologise to Cathy Newman for what happened.”
