This renovation was well thought out and at great expense was completed using the best builders/construction crew in the area.................you believe or not tongue.png

Apparently... coffee1.gif

But to be fair you see this sort of thing on many beach fronts worldwide, what do you expect building on sand, water will undermine any structure.

Ill explain this again: It was the sandbags just North of this area that caused the very rapid undermining that came into effect as soon as the winter wind driven North to South long shore current started. A currents capacity to transport a lode of sand is proportional to its velocity. It picks up sand when moving fast and deposits sand while slowing.

Any obstruction to this current like sandbags will slow it down and sand will be dropped/deposited as can be seen now around the sandbags.

But when this current is past the obstruction it picks up velocity and sand. Oceanography 101

It has nothing to do with the nationalities of the workers. It is the total incompetence of the design and lack of competent supervision.

Sure they just pored the concrete on to the sand, as can be seen from the beach.

What do you expect from these workers ? But its not really their fault since they do not know any better.
