Bangkok hotels?

Featured Replies

Hey guys and gals,

Coming to Bangkok end of February. Doing this because Chiang Mai is in burning season. I want to fly in, get a place to stay for about a week or two, and then find a more permanent place to stay for three to four months after.

Can you help me out?

  • first - what are some cheap hotels? I don't need a lot - a bed, a shower, and Internet. The cheaper, the better. Location is more important to me - i need to be where it's important and convenient to be
  • Second - Who/where do I go to in order to being finding a more permanent place to stay (coming from US just in case anybody was wondering).

Thanks so much.

Leaving the CM smoke for the Bangkok smoke, eh. Quite a few farangs tend to stay in the On Nut area. Did you also consider Hua Hin?

You can get a room on the ground floor of the Honey Hotel for B900. Many consider the location pretty good, Soi 19, Sukhumvit Road. Close to both the subway and train.

Well I'm unfamiliar with the location, so I'm not sure about either location.
